Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

We are seeking for 2 talented and experienced Infrastructure / DevOps Engineers with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps principles to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure solutions and CI/CD pipelines, with a specific emphasis on automating infrastructure provisioning and management through IaC practices. 

You will collaborate closely with data engineers and system administrators in DK, to enable efficient and scalable data processing pipelines.

Join our team as a Data Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure as Code and DevOps, and contribute to building robust, scalable, and efficient data infrastructure solutions.

Your future responsibilities would be to:

● design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure solutions using modern technologies on the Azure platform,
● implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure components,
● collaborate with data engineers and system administrators to ensure smooth integration of data pipelines with existing systems and infrastructure,
● optimize and enhance data storage, processing, and retrieval mechanisms to improve system performance and reliability,
● implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for data-related applications and infrastructure,
● monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure components to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
● develop and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR),
● stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the Infrastructure and DevOps space and evaluate their potential impact on our data infrastructure.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

·         ● bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree,
● proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on building scalable data infrastructure solutions,
● strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience with Terraform, or similar frameworks,
● solid understanding of the Azure cloud platform and familiarity with their respective data services (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks etc.),
● familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Git) for automating software builds, testing, and deployment,
● strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions,
● excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

We have 2 positions open, both for Junior/ Mid and Senior.

It would also be helpful if you have:

·         ● knowledge of data engineering concepts and techniques, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing,
● knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing data encryption, access controls, and data governance frameworks,
● knowledge of Infrastructure and cloud architecture,
● sense of independence and responsibility while being an excellent team-player.
